OUT OF THE DARK

In his series Out of the Dark, David Zehnder brings together his intuitive drawings, stone and aluminium engravings, and video works from his found-footage archive for the first time. Night-time landscapes, owls, and drawings inspired by Indigenous cultures converge to create a mystical, almost occult universe. Futuristic aesthetics and ancient visual languages intertwine, forming a visual archive of the collective unconscious in which past, present, and future merge.
